Wedding Bells: Kris & Mark

It’s been a joy to look through all these pictures from our photographer. I showed parents a musical slideshow through iTunes. I’ll probably make a slideshow movie for the blog….eventually. This entry has a sampling of shots from before the ceremony. You can see more pictures at our new wedding pix site on flickr. Heck, there’s only so many meg’s this blog can take before my ISP shuts me down. So, I went through Flickr to host the rest of the pictures.

So…I think our photographer had time to take some nice pix since the bride’s side was running a little late. Devon, our flowergirl, looks lovely by the fountain.

We met with our photographer this evening. He gave us a DVD filled with all our wedding pix. We look so pretty! He has this super-cool 8 megapixel camera…so, it will take me some time to few them all and convert them for the blog….

Today is our one month anniversary of being married. It rocks!

OK – so for family folks who came out from NY and the East Coast – we did desert and drinks at Downtown Disney. Here’s Devon and her parents.

We got there in time for the fireworks.

Mark and I had Mint Juelps from the Jazz Kitchen….but they forgot to add sugar…Ewwww….

Mark looks so classy in his Tux! Our florist assured us the flower arrangements for the men would be a “manly” arrangement. Buds and Blossoms did an awesome job with our flowers. We carried them over to the reception site after the wedding.

Thank you to everyone who woke up before the crack of dawn on my wedding day. I’m so sorry about the early morning call-time but I think it was worth it!

Special thanks to Jennie’s parents, my Ninang Nora and my Ninony Perry! Thanks so much for letting us use your house to get ready for the ceremony. Thank you for the breakfast and thank you for the coffee. I had the sniffles before the ceremony, so thanks for the Advil pill. It wouldn’t have been pretty if my nose was running while Monsignor took us through our vows.

Here’s she is – Miss America! Jennie looked beautiful in this bridesmaid dress from David’s Bridal. In retrospect, I’m glad she called me up on the day she was trying the dresses on. It gave me the chance to look-up the style numbers on their website and visualize how she would look.

Sharon Tabb and her assistant took care of the hair stylings for my bridesmaids. She also worked on hair and make-up for my mother and me.

Well, since my bridesmaids and I were busy getting beautiful on the Big Day – my London-partner-in-crime, Andrea, took over photography duties for the bears.

‘Cause it would seem odd if Louie and Andre didn’t get to see the Wedding, don’t you think? Here they are….in their own words…God help us.

Louie – It’s the crack of dawn and Mommy demands all her girls show up to Ninang Nora’s house for their beauty session. Louie thinks waking up early sucks. Louie demands a cup of coffee for his trouble. Early morning wake-up calls interfere with my beauty sleep. Can you see the bags under my eyes? Can you?

Andre – Mommy’s worried about Mark and his family making it to the church. Andre dials up Markie to see where he is. It’s hard for Andre to make the call. Stubby Paws. Stubby Paws. So, Susan calls up Markie instead.

We got married on Saturday, August 27, 2005 at St. Denis Church in Diamond Bar, California. It was a beautiful cermony and we were so blessed to have all our family and friends travel to Southern California for this special day.
